Quik Route:

  • Part 1: Lostine > Twopan Campground > Mirror Lk > climb Eagle Cap > Minum Lk > Twopan.
  • Part 2: Wallowa Lk > Ice Lk > climb Matterhorn > Wallowa Lk
  • Part 3: Wallowa Lk > 6 mile Meadow > Horseshoe Lk. (basecamp)
    Orient to Razz Lk and Unit LK.
    Hike thru lake country: > Lee Lk > Douglas Lk > Mocassin Lk

On way home, stopped at Santiam Pass.

  • Hiked into west side of 3-Fingered Jack. Climbed to 7600'.
  • Compass/GPS to Summit Lk on way back . 5,700 elevation gain/loss
